This was not an easy choice! As every year on IRES, the Best Poster Prize is awarded by the scientific steering committee who assesses all posters according to the scientific quality, the relevance of the topic and the presentation of the content. This year the steering committee had to pick the three best posters out of 97 ! We congratulate the winners which are shown below on their oustanding research and presentation at the conference.
Arrival: Hall 8b, Messe Düsseldorf, Parking P2
The established International Renewable Energy Storage Conference presents the latest research results and development experience for renewable energy storage. Presenters analyze and discuss the applicability and need for storage in the power, heating and transport and mobility sectors. The latest technological improvements as well as the framework conditions for the use and integration of energy storage systems are explored, while particular attention is given to the applicability in decentralized energy supply systems.
Conference tickets are available from 21 November onwards via our ticket shop or via fax/mail-registration form. EUROSOLAR-members benefit from 20% reduction.
All tickets can be bought in our online ticket shop.
Included in the tickets are
- the scientific IRES-conference sessions,
- the economic ESE-conference sessions,
- food and beverages during the time of the conference,
- all provided conference materials, including the authorized PDF-presentations of the speakers,
- access to the trade fair,
- a ticket for the public transport system in Düsseldorf
- entrance to the networking party on 15 March (not included in day tickets for 14 and 16 March).
The conference program combines the two themes "business and finance" and "research and policy". On the first day of the conference - Tuesday, 14 March - the celebratory opening gives insights on the two foci. A panel with storage experts and politicians discusses the necessity for storage technologies in Germany and the world. On Wednesday, 15 March, the IRES-sessions present the latest technological developments, research projects and key findings for the storage of renewable energy. The ESE-sessions feature business cases and financial aspects for the energy storage industry. On the fhird and final day - Thursday, 16 March 2017 - more parallel sessions allow the audience to dive deeper into the conference topics. In the afternoon, a celebratory closing summarizes the core content of the sessions. This way, all participants are equally informed.
The International Renewable Energy Storage Conference (IRES) is organized and directed by a Scientific Steering Committee. Being active researchers, professors and experts of storage technologies for renewable energy storage, the Scientific Steering Committee guarantees the scientific quality of the conference program and its set-up.
